End of the road for Uniting Care at Forest st
Today, we had a video conference with certain people who are in charge of Uniting Care for Victoria and Tasmania. It was officially confirmed that the Forest St office of Uniting Care will be closed down as of the 20th of August. Thus is a sad blow to those of us who work there. It means the end of the road for me and my involvement with Uniting Care. I have been there since 2008. All a bit sad i think.
I finish up at Bendigo Uniting
Today was my last day with Uniting Bendigo. The head office in Melbourne have, for whatever reason decided to close down the outreach in Forest st and transfer all the services to the Kangaroo Flat Uniting Church offices.
Most of the people there are upset about it, but it is what it is and we cannot do anything about it. I have been there for 14 years aand it is sad to see these offices close, but we must now all move on.
Thank you for fourteen great and wonderful years.
Cheers and best wishes to everybody.

A new Optus Modem
My new modem from Optus arrived today. It looks pretty cool and works really well. It took me a while to get it up and running, but once it was running, it works a whole lot better than the old modem. Cool.
