Back on deck

I have not posted anything here for a while. There have been two reasons for that. One, my old modem crashed on me and it took a while for my Internet provider, Optus to send me a new one!

I also had to spend a week in the new Bendigo hospital. I needed an operation on my bowel. I was feeling sick for about a week and a half. I thought it was just indigestion at first, but after a week or so I had to see my doctor, who committed me to hospital. It turned out that my bowel had expanded
about 3 times it's normal size. which was causing me to feel rather uncomfortable.

Thankfully, the operation was a complete success and I am now feeling much better. I am up and about. I must say, the new Bendigo Hospital is great. I actually enjoyed my stay there!

It was my third hospital visit in 4 years. Let's hope it is my last for a while.

My other piece of good news is that I finally have the NBN (National Broadband Network) connected. it seems to be faster than the old ADSL network. Let's hope I have no more connection problems.
